INGREDIENTS
- 3 large eggs, separated
- 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 3 ounces cream cheese, chopped
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 300°F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
- Beat the egg whites until foamy then beat in the cream of tartar until the whites are shiny and opaque with soft peaks.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and egg yolks until well combined then fold in the egg white mixture.
- Spoon the batter onto the baking sheet in ¼-cup circles about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 30 minutes until the buns are firm to the touch. Makes 10 servings.
