INGREDIENTS
- 10 ounces ground breakfast sausage
- ½ cup diced yellow onion
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper
- 3 large eggs, whisked
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- ½ cup shredded pepper jack cheese
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease three ramekins with cooking spray.
- Stir together the ground sausage, diced onion, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Divide the sausage mixture evenly in the ramekins, pressing it into the bottom and sides, leaving the middle open.
- Whisk together the eggs and heavy cream with salt and pepper.
- Divide the egg mixture among the sausage cups and top with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the eggs are set and the cheese browned. Makes three servings.
