Book Description HTML
What is the Commons and what relevance does the Commons have for our modern societies? These are two of the questions this book seeks to address. The book also suggests that whilst today we use the term Utopia in a disparaging way, in fact there are stories of Utopia all around us. The book puts the Commons and Utopia together, and this leads on to questions of governance. The book asserts that if we could change our government systems to recognise both local and global Commons, then we would be on our way to devising a practical Utopia that would be a relevant and productive vision for the future.
