Book Description
The search for truth is a difficult search – to say the least. If we could be sure of the truth – find ourselves a Truth HQ – then perhaps we could branch out into finding right and wrong, what beauty means and what makes for a good life. These things are the dreams of humanity – taken up by philosophy, religion and science. The stories and essays in this work explore these themes in a playful manner – digging into some of the great themes of philosophical thought. For readers who want to dig deeper, they may wish to refer to a larger non-fiction work – Conatus. The revised edition of Conatus gives a lot of detail, whilst the third edition tells the story in a simpler and more accessible manner. Both editions are available on free-ebooks.

I’m the author of Conatus, Twenty-One Levels of Self-Deception and Utopia, Governance and the Commons, amongst other works. Printed copies of my books are distributed free from various outlets, including ‘Little Free Libraries’. Original pen and ink illustrations are distributed free under the title of ‘Art for All’.
