Timeless Mother,
Your waves are tired
Burdened with the wastes
Of your children,
Laden with the scum of their pride.
Timeless Mother
Do we hear a plea?
Do you ask the return of your beauty
That unpolluted you may again freely
Mingle your salt spray with the wind?
You have birthed our life from your bounty.
Must we now give our love back to thee?
