Douglas and Scotty Melcher are exploring a mountain meadow in the Gallatin Valley north of Yellowstone National Park when they’re caught in the open by a severe storm that blew up unexpectedly over the mountains. They run to find shelter, When they lean against a huge tree to rest, they hear a voice telling them to come inside the tree. They run to the back of the tree and find an opening large enough for them to crawl inside to safety. Inside, the tree speaks to them and the boys name him...
