Sleep will not come,

 

It is lost somewhere in the mix,

 

Of all the hurt by me,

 

For the life of me, I can not fix!

 

You loved me even,

 

Though I at times took your joy,

 

You who guarded me,

 

Cause Im your son & only boy!

 

Things Ive done to you,

 

With all the words could I explain?

 

Forgiveness Im allowed,

 

After breaking your heart with pain!
