Virtues To Behold
I sometimes wonder
About those who boast
Pompously about their wealth
And status in society.
The truth is…
No one truly cares
About wealth amassed by others!
Does wealth define
Character and credibility?
Frankly…
What comes from meaningless
Existence and trivial pursuits?
Cultivate instead, virtues
Of magnanimity and brotherhood.
Never forget…
The spirit of generosity,
Human kindness and good will
Are indeed the wealth
We must pursue to inherit
To live a worthy life!
