Children of the World
We were all once
Children of the world
We grew into adults
And have seen many things
The children of today
Know nothing of yesterday
The teachings have all disappeared
Never to be known by them
More and more each year
The children's knowledge lessens
We need to teach the children
Now more than ever before
The children of the world
Need to understand its history
And hopefully learn from mistakes
To make this world a better place.
