Nightmare among ghosts
Cornered by my own uselessness,
I stand crushed
on the edge of heaven.
The scarcity of my feathers pushes my cravings to hell.
I've been willing to deliver my wings,
but I birth only
silence.
Ghosts holler so vividly
that I believe in their lies.
This crucifix with arms wide open,
with eyes wide shut,
will smash
the roof of the world.
