Victory and discord are diametrically opposed.
In the years preceding my recovery,
I sought both the Lord and the world.
It was obviously unfruitful to seek both-
For one can not serve two masters.
In serving the world, I thought I was serving myself.
When I decided to pursue Him,
He provided me with more than anything
The world could offer-
He is the author of peace and tranquility,
Anything else is merely a fragment of His character.
