This small collection of poems allowed me the rare privilege of being poetically anchored in a particular time and place, namely, Sarasota Florida and environs in the last quarter of the twentieth century. My love of Sarasota and Florida is a deeply rooted one, more unconscious than conscious if the truth be known.
