Chains
The prisons keep changing,
the chains keep changing,
the destiny of the prisoner
remains unchanged.
My jailor has a bag
full of colorful masks.
He keeps me entertained
by giving me tasks
and playing games.
He has tied me to a line
invisible and weak
I'd be ashamed
to even try to break.
And on top of it all,
I'm shackled to a pillar
connected to me.
It makes me scream,
It makes me holler:
I need my chains,
I want my jailor.
