The tree of Lost Souls
An Oracle in disguise
Many lives played out before her
This insight makes her wise
Birth, Weddings and Funerals
Conflicts, Peace and Love
Solitude in her silence
Or a curse from above
Confined to the boundaries
Of her physical matter
She longs to share her wisdom
Or just have fun and natter
May be the tree
With her potent soul
Is wiser than we realize
She is aware of her role
Oxygenating our planet
And the air that we breathe
Wouldn’t we all be lost souls?
If the trees were to leave
