Taking It on the Lam

In the 1940’s a convicted Post Office robber is given an extraordinarily stiff sentence. Then he seems to be encouraged by the authorities to make a break from jail. He smells a too obvious setup. But, what’s their game? Perhaps of more immediate significance, he can’t resist freedom’s call.
