NAUCA – DAUGHTER OF THE STEPPES is a historical fiction novel telling the story of a Sarmatian girl born in the year 80 B.C.E. in the region of the Caucasus North of the Black Sea, and this at a time King Mithridates VI of Pontus is at war with the Romans. A strong, proud and intelligent girl, Nauca will grow up to be worthy of being called an ‘Amazon’, becoming a first-class archer, horse rider, huntress and warrior. However, a personal tragedy will push her into traveling beyond her beloved steppes and experience the rest of the World.
