This technical report summarizes methodologies, processes, and main assumptions of three building energy modeling programs (BEMPs) for HVAC calculations: EnergyPlus, DeST, and DOE-2.1E. This is a joint effort between Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, USA and Tsinghua University, China.
